Middle East Church Planting
Tens of thousands of villages in this region have no church of any kind – no Protestant, no Catholic, no Orthodox churches. However, there is an openness to Jesus and the Gospel in many of these towns and villages. A movement of church planting is taking place throughout the region. Often it takes the form of house churches, which rapidly reproduce. Occasionally opportunities arise for churches to establish a ministry facility which is approved by the government.
Funds given to this EMP will be used for either the underground house church movement or “above ground” church planting taking place in several Middle Eastern countries.
