Church Planting & Development

São Tomé & Príncipe is an island nation in the Gulf of Guinea off the western coast of Central Africa. It is a Portuguese speaking nation. The church in Portugal sent Moisés and Jacione Souza and their family as missionaries in 2018. The first Free Methodist church in São Tomé was launched in January 2019. Ongoing development and training takes includes various discipleship ministries for children, youth and adults. National leaders are being trained for pastoral ministry. The Church Planting and Development (CPD) Fund assists in continued church planting and leadership training efforts.
