Shame, embarrassment, lack of access to education, and lack of proper sanitation and period supplies marginalize girls and women. If girls don’t have supplies, they miss school and often drop out. These challenges reverberate into ongoing poverty and lack of access to educational opportunities, which are directly linked to human trafficking vulnerability, child marriage, and a lifelong lack of adequate livelihood. Wunders is working to change this reality.
