Middle East Refugee Fund
Since the beginning of the Syrian Civil War and conflicts in Iraq, hundreds of thousands of refugees have been displaced from their homes. Many have settled within the reach of established FM ministries. This established work is developing new work amongst their refugee neighbors. Through providing basic aid supplies (food, home needs, etc) Middle Eastern Free Methodist lay people began making significant inroads amongst the refugee community. Today they provide a safe place for hurting refugees to gather for classes, counseling, basic medical care and community. Through all of this, doors are opening for the Love of Christ to be made known.
